As far as safety measures are concerned, it is equipped with innovative systems, such as the highway and traffic assistant, the adaptive cruise control with the lane centering function or the intelligent speed limiter, which allows you to automatically block the maximum speed of the vehicle according to the current legal limitation. To reduce the risk of a collision, the new electric Mégane E-Tech also features Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning and Lane Keeping Assist, which combines data from the front camera and side radars to automatically return the vehicle to its original position. lane when, when overtaking, it detects a risk of a frontal or side collision or when the car is about to leave the road.
