Manhunt in Innsbruck – threatened with knife: victim managed to escape robber

Attempted robbery on Saturday night in Innsbruck: An 18-year-old resident was threatened with a knife by an unknown person and asked to hand over cash. The victim managed to escape. So far there is no trace of the perpetrator.

At about 1 a.m., the 18-year-old was approached by a stranger near Ing.-Etzel Straße and threatened with a knife. The assailant demanded cash. But the victim escaped unharmed.

Police hope for clues
A search for the culprit has so far been unsuccessful. Police are now hoping for clues. The suspect spoke English, was about six to eight feet tall, and was dressed in black at the time of the crime. He had a bandana wrapped around his mouth.
