Developed specifically for the European market, the new ASX is based on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance CMF-B platform. In the words of Frank Krol, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Europe: “The growth and electrification of SUVs is
a dominant trend in the European market current and it will remain so: the new ASX is an electrified SUV, with a complete package of advanced technology and infotainment that fits perfectly in Europe.

The new ASX integrates Mitsubishi Motors’ signature ‘Dynamic Shield’ design language on the front, conveying ruggedness and dynamism, while featuring the iconic three-diamond logo.

The flowing profile, with a choice of 17- or 18-inch wheels, is combined with a wide and high body that radiates agility and sportiness. The versatility and elegance of the design is culminated at both the front and rear with LED optics.

Equipped with the latest infotainment technology, the interior of the new ASX combines style and comfort with space and versatility, and a boot capacity of up to 401 liters (VDA).

Access to the new Mitsubishi ASX can be carried out comfortably thanks to the keyless control system, which is standard on all versions except the entry-level version. When the driver approaches within approximately one meter of the vehicle, the system switches
automatically unlock the doors. Likewise, the system locks the doors when exiting the vehicle.

The mid-mount Smartphone Link Display of Audio (SDA) acts as the primary interface between the driver and the vehicle’s infotainment systems. The SDA comes in 7” landscape and 10” portrait formats with
wireless smartphone mirroring (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) by default. The higher versions also have the BOSE Premium Audio system.

Higher versions include integrated 3D navigation and a host of customization options, from user profiles and widgets to driving modes via the Multi-Sense system.

There is also the option to customize the instrument panel with three levels: an analog input panel that integrates a 4.2″ display, a configurable mid-level digital panel with a 7″ display and a 9″ digital driver display, 3″
fully customizable which also reproduces the navigation instructions.

Controlled via the SDA, the Multi-Sense system allows the driver to adjust steering response, dynamic chassis control and tractive effort delivery. Different driving modes can be selected:

• ECO: Prioritizes maximum efficiency.

• PURE: for electric driving only.

• SPORT: maximum pulling power with dynamic chassis control and response adjustment

The MI-PILOT (Mitsubishi Intelligent – PILOT) system, which combines Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Centering Assist (LCA), is available on the higher automatic, HEV and PHEV versions of the ASX.

Depending on the driving mode selected via the Multi-Sense system, the dynamic chassis control function reads the cornering path and, if necessary, reads
