Date:

The new one is situated between the 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera S, powered by the base engine, a 385 hp biturbo and 450 Nm of torque.

The letter ‘T’ stands for ‘Touring’ and perfectly describes the models that offer a pure Porsche driving experience, with exceptionally sporty equipment. For example, the 911 range will be expanded with the arrival of the lightweight sports car 911 Carrera T, which will be available in February 2023 with
a price of 143,314 euros.

It has a seven-speed manual transmission as standard and is optionally available with an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. Another special feature is that the rear seat has been omitted to reduce weight. In addition, the new 911 Carrera T with the PASM sports suspension, which lowers the body by 10 millimeters, and the reduced insulation,
unique sensations behind the wheel. This key is especially noticeable on winding mountain roads, where the sound of the six-cylinder boxer can also be heard more intensely in the interior.

The new 911 Carrera T sits between the 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera S. It is powered by the base engine, a biturbo with 385 hp and 450 Nm of torque, with which it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 . 5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 291 km/h. Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and a mechanical differential lock on the rear axle are added to the standard equipment of the 911 Carrera S with manual transmission. The 911 Carrera T also features the Sport Chrono pack and the PASM (-10 mm) sports suspension, extras on the 385 hp Carrera. It can even be ordered with the optional rear-axle steering normally reserved for the Carrera S and above.

In the specific equipment of the ‘T’ we find the Titanium gray Carrera S wheels, 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, with 245/35 and 305/30 tires respectively. Furthermore, the 911 Carrera T is standard equipped with the GT sports steering wheel, sports exhaust system and Sport Plus seats (four-way electrically adjustable). Weighing only 1470 kilograms, the manual 911 Carrera T is the lightest series-produced 911 with the entry-level engine. It weighs 35 kg less than the 911 Carrera, which is fitted with the eight-speed PDK transmission as standard. This version is not marketed with a manual gearbox. In addition to eliminating the rear seat and reducing insulation, weight is further reduced by making the glass and battery lighter.

On the outside, the Porsche 911 Carrera T distinguishes itself from other variants by details that stand out in dark gray. Other contrasting elements in Agate Gray are the upper and lower moldings on the door mirrors, the new logos on the doors and on the rear, as well as the moldings on the rear grille. The windshield is also accentuated by a gray tint at the top. The exhausts of the sports exhaust system are glossy black. All this gives the new 911 Carrera T an even more personal and dynamic appearance.

The sporty atmosphere is accentuated inside by the standard four-way power Sport Plus seats. Matt black moldings and gloss black inserts complete the interior of the Carrera T. Customers looking for even more personalization can opt for the optional Carrera T interior package. It consists of seat belts in contrasting Slate Gray or Lizard Green, the same color as the decorative stitching, the 911 logo embossed on the headrests and the seats with a center stripe. Optionally, the mats can also carry the logo and stitching in these two contrasting colors.
