Versatile: the new Peugeot 408 takes ‘Allure’ to the highest level, the mix of dynamism, elegance and driving pleasure

The new Peugeot 408, the Leon’s commitment to offer a fastback to reinforce its presence in the upper part of the C-segment, a model that surprises with its design, its advanced technology and its unique vision of efficiency and electrification can now be ordered at any Peugeot Dealer Network outlet in Spain and ‘online’ in the Peugeot Store.

The styling of the new 408, associated with the feline attitude typical of all Peugeots, is a perfect match for its new fastback concept in the C-segment, characterized by a particularly sharp treatment of the surfaces, especially accentuated on the rear, at the level of the end of the roof, the tailgate and the beginning of the wings, creating all kinds of folds designed to play with the light.

At the front, it offers a long sculpted hood sandwiched between oversized fins typical of recent Peugeot models. This design commitment enhances the presence of the front section while at the same time giving fluidity to the profile, as the cut between the mudguard and the bonnet is invisible.

Inside, the new Peugeot 408 is a compendium of comfort and dynamism. Measuring 4.69 m long and 2.69 m wheelbase, it offers plenty of space, as evidenced by its 188 mm knee room in the second row. It has a large trunk of 536 liters, which can go up to 1,611 liters with the rear seat backs folded down.

Technology is a ubiquitous element in the new model. It has the latest generation of the Peugeot i-Cockpit driving position with the most advanced driver assistance functions, supported by six cameras and nine radars.

Developed for car enthusiasts seeking durability and safety without sacrificing driving pleasure, the new Peugeot 408 features a range of engines that stand out for their efficiency and dynamic performance. At the top of the range are the Plug-in Hybrid alternatives, developing 225 hp and 180 hp respectively. Along with them, the Leon’s innovative fastback includes a proven PureTech 130 petrol engine. In a few months, the new Peugeot 408 will add a 100% electric alternative to its catalog.
