This is the best selling car in Spain in November

Electric and electrified cars have grown by more than 14% compared to last year

November strengthens the position of the
Fiat500 on the Spanish market. The compact city ended the month as the best-selling tourism in our country, with 1,877 registrations, 102.7% more than in the same period of 2021.

The Fiat 500 Hybrid, the version
with MHEV technology of this model, is crucial in these results. It ranks second in the “Non-Plug-in Hybrids” passenger car category, with 1,739 units registered.

The second place in the ranking is for the Toyota Yaris Cross, with a total of 1,856 registered units. They are followed by the Dacia Sandero with 1,722 units delivered, fourth is the Hyundai Tucson, with 1,676 registrations, and fifth place is the Toyota Corolla, with a total of 1,606 units registered during the month.

In total, Fiat has achieved a growth of 75.6% compared to its sales in November 2021, with 2,649 cars sold.

Fiat has registered 23,295 passenger cars. Of these, 14,647 correspond to the Fiat 500, the brand’s best-selling vehicle in Spain and Europe. The “Cinquecento” stands out for the strong weight of its electrified versions in its registrations. The Fiat 500e and the Fiat 500 Hybrid account for 14,161 units sold, 96.7% of this model’s mix.

Up to the penultimate month of the year, there were 75,864 electrified registrations, with an increase of 22.3% and a total market share of 8.69%.

Registrations of zero- and low-emission vehicles (electrified, hybrid and gas) achieved a 24% increase in November, with a total of 35,034 units,
represents 40.57% of the market and remains the first purchase option on the market. On an annual basis, there are 311,273 units, with a growth of 12.5%.
