Offers a rental price of 99 euros per month for a Panda Mild Hybrid
“Fiat has been democratizing mobility for 125 years,” Alejandro Noriega, general manager for Spain and Portugal, began his presentation at the presentation of
the electrified range of the Italian brand in Bilbao. A commitment that has been maintained over time and that, with the advent of electrification, they have adapted to avoid the high prices of these models.
A clear example of this pursuit of democratization in the current era of electrification is the offer to enjoy a Fiat Panda Mild Hybrid (MHEV), with the Eco label, from 99 euros per month, via rental.
The public seems to have understood Fiat’s message well, the data shows.
In October, the Fiat 500e was the best-selling electric car in Spain. An impulse that, as Noriega says, will allow them to go from a 3.43% share among electric models in Spain that they had in the first quarter of 2021, to close this year with a 7% share. Growth sure to be 9% by 2023.
To achieve that democratization
approves not only in competitive prices, but also in providing services that solve the problems arising from the poor coverage of the charging infrastructure that Spain suffers from. For this they have reached an agreement with the company E-Gap for fast charging at home, for the time being it only works in Madrid. “We believe it is an added value that removes the fear of running out of power in the car,” says Fiat’s general manager.
At Fiat, the energy transition is more than a target for 2027: the date set on the brand’s calendar to offer a range
made exclusively from 100% electric cars. Five years earlier, the Italian company took the first steps towards this ambitious goal, with a catalog in which it has at least one electrified version in each of its models.
Fiat’s “zero-emission” range for passenger cars consists of the Fiat 500e and the Fiat E-Doblò, while Fiat Professional offers the Fiat E-Doblò, the E-Ducato and the E-Scudo for commercial vehicles.
The electric version of the New 500 is available in hatchback, convertible and 3+1 body styles and is divided into three levels, the New 500 (RED) and the Special Series “La Prima by Bocelli”. It offers versions with Mild Hybrid (MHEV) technology with a petrol engine developing 51 kW (70 hp), and thanks to hybridization it records emissions of 108 g/km CO2 and
a combined consumption of 4.7 l/100 km. This model can be entered by renting from 229 euros per month.
The Fiat Panda, for its part, features this micro-hybridisation technology in both City and Cross trims, with emissions from 109 g/km and consumption of 4.8 l/100 km. month.
The Fiat 500X has
a hybrid version, with an output of 97 kW (130 hp) with a maximum torque of 240 Nm at 3,500 rpm and consumption from 5.4 l/100 km and CO2 emissions from 128 g/km. With financing for rental to private individuals, you can benefit from as little as 229 euros per month.
In the compact segment, Fiat offers the Tipo, which is included in its ranges
Hatchback and station wagon an alternative 97 kW (130 hp) MHEV, with emissions of 115 g/km CO2 and consumption of 5.1 l/100 km, according to WLTP regulations. This model is offered from 229 euros per month.
With the daily needs of families, companies and the self-employed in mind, Fiat offers the E-Doblò in its range, produced in Vigo, marking another step in the brand’s electrification process. Equipped with a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor and a 50 kWh battery, which allows more than 280 km of autonomy, it reaches a maximum speed of 130 km/h and a maximum torque of 260 Nm.
Thanks to the “Quick Charge Mode” up to 100 kW you can charge 80% of your battery in just 30 minutes. The rental offer is 249 euros per month.
