The Seat 850 does
the most popular model on Spanish roads from its birth in 1966 until the arrival of a replacement, the Seat 127. Bigger and more spacious and with a better performance engine, the 850 stood above the 600 in the Spanish marque’s range.
The Special version, which we had the pleasure of testing, had a more meticulous interior, chrome exterior moldings and a more powerful engine which, according to the publicity of the time, allowed
reach 140 km/h loaded to the brim with the car.
