How long can you drive without the physical driver’s license if you pass the exam

This permit only allows traffic within the national territory

Once you have passed the DGT driving license exam and the grades have been published, you can grab the car and drive. At that moment you do not have the physical driver’s license
it will take time to get home by mail one and a half months after passing all required tests, both theoretical and practical.

But during this waiting period, a provisional permit allows you to circulate exclusively through the national territory. This document has a
valid for three months and you must always carry it with you, if necessary show it, until you have the final driver’s license.
