This is how Lamborghini’s 60th birthday is celebrated

The exhibition ‘The Future Began in 1963’ opens the activities for the company’s 60th anniversary at the Museo Automobili Lamborghini

In 2023, commemorative activities to celebrate Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary will begin. To do this, the Sant’Agata Bolognese company has remodeled the Automobili Lamborghini Museum, which is now reopening its doors. It has changed its name and has been completely renovated, both in layout and design, which have been modernized, and in terms of exhibitions.

The new exhibition ‘The Future Began in 1963’ deals with the most emblematic periods and the most representative moments that mark the history of the first 60 years of Lamborghini. The story begins with the evolution of the brand and its products from 1963 to the present, starting with the founder,
Ferruccio Lamborghini.

The
19 cars on display they are the heroes who tell the brand’s history and Lamborghini’s iconic engineering and design heritage: innate principles that characterize the company’s DNA.

Specifically, the list of exposed vehicles
divided into three main themes. First of all ‘Heritage’, including the 350GT, Miura S, Espada, LP 400 Countach, Urraco and the LM 002. Also the ‘Contemporary’ theme, including the Diablo GT, Murciélago SV, Gallardo Performante Spyder, Huracán Performante , Aventador SVJ, Urus and GT3. Finally, the ‘Few-off’, with the Reventón, Sesto Elemento, Veneno, Centenario, Sián and Countach LPI 800-4.

The exhibition highlights the unconventional and revolutionary way in which each new model was created, able to break the rules of each era and
always set new milestones. Every Lamborghini supercar contains at least one disruptive idea that seemed crazy at first, but was embraced in the evolution of the car, leading to constant refinement of almost every aspect of a car.

The structure that houses the Museo Automobili Lamborghini is steeped in an extraordinary history. It is part of the first group of buildings for which, in 1963, Ferruccio Lamborghini laid the foundation stone of a company capable of creating an extraordinary history and becoming a true source of inspiration for future generations.
