In the first two months of 2023, the number of car deliveries in the Spanish market amounted to 138,039 units
Registrations of passenger cars and SUVs in Spain reached 74,001 units, 19.6% more compared to the 62,102 registered in the second month of 2022, according to data from manufacturers associations (Anfac), dealers (Faconauto) and sellers (ganvam).
In the total of the first two months of 2023, car deliveries to the Spanish market stood at 138,039 units, representing a year-on-year increase of 32.1% compared to the 104,470 units registered in the same period of 2022 .
According to channels, private customers bought 32,463 passenger cars and SUVs in February, an increase of 8.6%, and 64,489 units accumulated in the year, 25.3% more, while companies registered 32,041 units in February, 12.9% more and 59,908 units since January , 25.9% more.
For their part, the ‘rent a car’ firms bought 9,497 passenger cars and SUVs in the national market in the second month of 2024, representing a sharp increase of 148.9%, while the figure soared to February 151.4% , up to 13,642 units.
