Annie Levovitz (2000 and 2016).
As a photography and art student, Summerton discovered the fashion world by working as an assistant in Australia. It was in the beginning, while I was reading Vogue Italia, then directed by
Franca Sozzaniwhen he got the idea that fashion photography could be so creative that it would grow into the art category.
His dream at the time was to one day work for the Italian leader of Vogue, which eventually became a reality thanks to Edward Enninful, who he still considers his special ‘fairy mother’ in the fashion world.
