With a design update, a thoroughly modernized premium environment and significant advances in digitalization, operation, operation and equipment, the new edition of the BMW 3 Series will write a new chapter in the worldwide success story of this model range.

Specific updates to the front and rear design shine even brighter than ever on the sporting capabilities for which the BMW 3 Series model range is renowned. the new BMW 3 Series now comes standard with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission with paddle shifters on the steering wheel and a redesigned gear selector.

With its elegantly sporty design and agile handling, the BMW 3 Series has set a benchmark for driving pleasure in the premium mid-range segment from day one. The new edition of the sports saloon, which has enjoyed great success for more than 45 years, and the Touring model, first introduced 35 years ago, will be launched in July.

With its clearly structured surfaces, dynamic lines and large air inlets, the front apron further emphasizes the sporty appearance of the new BMW 3 Series. The new headlights and the double kidney grille also give the car a strong appearance. The standard LED headlights are now much slimmer, with clear contours and daytime running lights arranged in an inverted L shape to create a modern and harmonious look.

One of the other distinguishing features of the BMW 3 Series is the wide range of powertrains available. Highly efficient combustion engines with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology and electrification in the form of a plug-in hybrid system ensure an exceptionally fine balance between driving pleasure and fuel consumption.

The engine range is characterized by two BMW M Performance models from BMW M GmbH with ultra-sporty features. This means that the BMW 3 Series has a power range from 110 kW/150 hp to 275 kW/374 hp (combined fuel consumption: 1.3 – 8.8 l/100 km in the WLTP cycle, combined CO2 emissions: 29 – 198 g/km in WLTP cycle).
