Rihanna joins the list of billionaires in the world and Jeff Bezos is not in first place

Rihanna and Peter Jackson made the Forbes Billionaires List for the first time in 2022.

The pop star and director of The Lord of the Rings hit the charts this year along with other Hollywood stars, including Kanye West and Jay-Z.

In the latest list of global billionaires, published by American Business magazine on Tuesday, the couple dated between 1729 and 1929.

Forbes estimates Rihanna at $1.7 billion, thanks to the success of the Fenty Beauty cosmetics line.

Forbes said the company, which owns French retailer LVMH, generated more than $550 million ($4,420 million) in revenue in 2020.

The singer also owns 30% of the shares of the Savage x Fenty lingerie line, which raised $1 billion (65,765 million) in cash in February 2021.

The 36-year-old, who is currently expecting her first child with rapper ASAP Rocky, is Barbados’ first billionaire.

Jackson achieved billionaire status in November after selling a portion of Weta Digital Movie Effects store to Unity Software for $1.6 billion ($1.2 billion) in cash and stock.

The company used film footage from actor Andy Serkis to create an on-screen visual character of Gollum on screen.

According to Forbes, Jackson’s blockbuster films LOTR and Hobbit have grossed $6 billion (4.5 billion) worldwide.

In the 1513 chart, the rapper West is worth $2 billion, thanks to his lucrative fashion brands and a multi-year contract to develop the brand for his Yeezy coach Adidas.

His industrial guru and music mogul Jay-Z has a net worth of $1.4 billion (11 billion) and is ranked as of 2076 on Forbes’ list of Global Billionaires.

Elon Musk, co-founder of Tesla and SpaceX, tops the list with $219 billion (7167 billion), followed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos with $171 billion (1,131 billion).
