Rumors after video – drug test by Finnish prime minister negative

Date:

The drug test conducted by Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin to counter rumors of alleged drug use at a private party came back negative. The Finnish government announced this in Helsinki on Monday.

Several videos of the 36-year-old had gone public last week, showing her partying and dancing with friends (see tweet). Some Finnish journalists said they heard about drugs in one of them.

“I haven’t done anything illegal”
Marin therefore agreed to a drug test. The prime minister repeatedly claimed that she had never used drugs in her life. During the celebrations she only drank alcohol. “I haven’t done anything illegal. I have a family life, I have a work life and I have free time that I spend with friends,” said the 36-year-old.

Marin’s private life is a regular topic of conversation in the Northern European country. She can often be seen at music festivals, clubs or bars and shares videos and photos on Instagram.
