Fatal accident Saturday evening in Schwaz, Tyrol: A 22-year-old resident skidded his car, after which the car drove into the garden of a restaurant and hit a young person. The 16-year-old suffered injuries and was taken to hospital after first aid.
The serious accident happened just after 11:30 p.m. The 22-year-old driver drove from a side street in Schwaz onto the B171 Tiroler Straße, where the car suddenly skidded due to the wet road surface.

“After the rear end broke out, the driver lost control of the car, it drove into the guest garden and initially crashed into several flower boxes, chairs and tables,” police said. A 16-year-old sitting in the guest yard was hit by the car and thrown from the seat. “It came down to the ground a few meters further,” the researchers continued.
With the rescue to the hospital
The teenager was injured. After first aid at the accident site, the rescue team took him to the Schwaz district hospital. Another guest escaped with a fright. The driver of the car was also unharmed.
