A Romanian family man (44) acted completely irresponsibly: the man got behind the wheel of his car with an alcohol percentage of 1.5 per mille in his blood. Also in the car: the wife (42) and two children (8, 17). In Abtenau he lost control of the vehicle, after which a serious traffic accident followed.
According to the police, the driver drove too far over the middle of the lane on a right-hand bend on Saturday evening and collided with a Bosnian car (62) sideways. The Romanian family’s vehicle then collided with a street lamp.
The wife and son (8) were injured in the accident. Rescue took them both to the hospital. The overturned street lamp also damaged another car and the local fire brigade was also involved in the clean-up work. The police immediately took the driver’s license away.
