Sunday evening there was a heated argument in Villach, Carinthia, between a heavily intoxicated couple. A 35-year-old pulled a knife and stabbed her partner, 35, several times.
“In the evenings, a violent argument broke out in an apartment in Villach between a 35-year-old woman and her partner, who was also 35,” police said. During the argument, the heavily intoxicated woman lost her composure and grabbed a knife from the kitchen. “The woman stabbed her victim several times,” officials said. The man suffered stab wounds and cuts to his upper body.

The wounds were treated on an outpatient basis at the LKH Villach, but the injured person was able to leave the hospital. Meanwhile, his partner was temporarily arrested and taken to the Villach police detention center.
“The crime knife has been seized and both will be questioned about the incident later in the day,” the message read. At the time of the crime, the couple was too drunk to make a statement to police. An alcohol test revealed an alcohol content of 3 per thousand.
