Road accident in Vienna-Floridsdorf: On Monday, a motorcycle collided with a car and the motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle. The rescue service was immediately called and the injured driver had to be taken to hospital.
The collision took place on Leopoldauer Strasse on Monday morning, the Vienna professional rescue service reported. A car pulled out of an exit, which collided with the motorcyclist moments later.
The rescue service was immediately alerted, after arrival several emergency services from the professional rescue service of Vienna took care of the injured motorcyclist. The fire brigade also came to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles.
Immediate hospitalization
The 29-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital after suffering head and shoulder injuries in the accident. The driver of the car was not injured.
