After a 32-year-old woman was found dead in front of her house in Bludenz (Vorarlberg) on Tuesday evening, it is now clear that she died of massive blood loss from numerous stab and cut wounds to blood vessels and organs. The suspect’s husband gave the motive for the crime as constant insults to his wife, who was divorced from him.
The 36-year-old suspect stabbed the 32-year-old several times with a kitchen knife in the hall of his wife’s home on Tuesday evening. She sustained injuries to her abdomen and upper body and died on the spot despite attempts to resuscitate her. The man fled, but then turned himself in to the police and was arrested without resistance.
During the interrogation, the suspect confessed. The man was admitted to the prison of Feldkirch on Wednesday evening by order of the public prosecutor.

Prior to the crime, a dispute broke out over the phone over the care of the three children together. A short time later, the man drove to the building where his wife lived. He ordered them to come to the house by phone. When the 32-year-old arrived at the entrance, her husband attacked her with the kitchen knife he had brought.
The 36-year-old Turk has been banned four times since 2015 and is approaching and there is also an official weapon ban.
