Few things bring people together like football… The inclusive power of football isn’t just felt at major events, it’s every day – in every field, field and courtyard in the world where football is played. Coca-Cola’s Coca-Cola Unified Cup in close collaboration with the ÖFB now shows how diverse football can be. You too can join your club – and experience the connecting power of football!

“We love leather”: under this motto, ÖFB and Coca-Cola jointly invite you to the 1st Coca-Cola Unified Cup, where 12 teams in different divisions will compete on September 25 in a special competition between street court and e-gaming. The Coca-Cola Unified Cup stands for diversity, inclusion and “togetherness” in football and celebrates a football festival with people of all ages, genders and abilities – where everyone “walks off the field” as winners.

Austrian football star David Alaba has enthusiastically accompanied the Coca-Cola Cup as an ambassador for about 10 years. He is delighted that Coca-Cola and the ÖFB are now breaking new ground with the Coca-Cola Unified Cup to spark the passion for football.

ÖFB goalkeeper Manuela Zinsberger also supports the Coca-Cola Unified Cup as an ambassador and knows that it’s not just the players on the pitch that count in football. “Everything around is just as important – from the supervisors to the officials, the greenkeepers to the helping hands in the cafeteria. I am all the more happy that the Coca-Cola Unified Cup is celebrating this and that everyone is celebrating together a football festival that knows no boundaries .”

This is how you can participate in the Coca-Cola Unified Cup
Now put together a colorful team with your club and show how diverse your club or your syndicate and therefore football can be. Take part in the Coca-Cola Unified Cup with your trainers, your parents, your canteen staff, your friends or even the biggest fans.

Those Teams des Coca-Cola Unified Cup:

  • 12 teams of 8 people each (6 people nominated themselves/2 people drawn)
  • Specifications for the 6 participants
  • At least 1 woman/at least 1 man
  • From 14 to 99 years
  • 1 person over 40 years old
  • In addition, each team will receive 1 National Youth Player and 1 Special Olympics Player
  • Each team is named after a national or international football legend
  • All participants must play at least one half on the field

The game mode:

  • The game is played on a 10×15 meter street football field
  • 1 goalkeeper + 4 field players
  • 1st half on the track (10 minutes)
  • Game on console (2×4 minutes)
  • eGame final score will be added to the intermediate score
  • 2nd half on track (10 minutes)

The game plan:
The teams are divided into 4 groups, where everyone plays against everyone with awarded points. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of each pool play in their own division with semi-finals and finals to win in this division.

Each division is named after a football legend, who also hands over the trophy after the respective final.

The match will be played on September 25, 2022 in the sports center Donaucity (Arbeiterstrandbadstraße 128, 1220 Vienna). Start is 10.30 am, planned to end around 7 pm. With free catering on site for all participating teams.

Each team will receive white and red Coke-branded jerseys (bring your own shorts and socks – uniformity required). The game is played with the original PUMA Orbit football – the teams can keep the balls after the game. In addition, participants can look forward to autograph sessions and tips and tricks from professionals – hands-on stations such as Goalgetter Academy, Helge Payer Goalkeeper School, E-Gamer Mario Viska and many more. – To be happy.

The ÖFB and Coca-Cola also have something very special to offer for the participants of the Coca-Cola Unified Cup: the players and a delegation from their club (12 people in total) are home after the tournament for the UEFA Nations League match Austria v. Croatia invited to the Ernst Happel Stadium!
