Monday morning, an unannounced climate demonstration of the “Last Generation Austria” took place in Vienna. This time on the Outer Belt between Hernalser Hauptstraße and Thaliastraße. The action caused traffic jams and chaos in the early morning.
Among the demonstrators would have been the climate activist Martha K., who, together with other participants, immediately stuck to the street. The ARBÖ also warned on Twitter about traffic congestion as a result of the climate demonstration.
“This passivity is terrible!”
The “Last Generation” again demands: “This passivity is terrible! We are on the brink of a climate collapse and the government is still not ready to implement the simplest measures, such as the 100 speed limit on the Autobahn.”
Due to the action, the streets were largely closed off by the police.
