However, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Naser Kananí has clarified that this would be possible as long as the 2015 nuclear pact is re-implemented and US sanctions against the Persian country are lifted.

After the sanctions, the Persian country was forced to cut production significantly, but according to the executive director of the National Oil Company of Iran, Mohsen Joyaste Mehr, it has reached pre-sanction levels since April.
In that sense, Mehr recently stated that they will increase production to 4.03 bpd by March 2023.
