While the politicians sat in the Krems magistrate on Sunday afternoon waiting for the election results to be announced – the “Krone” reported – there was a bomb threat in the hospital.
A 51-year-old man who was in hospital is said to have tried to push a woman in a wheelchair over the stairs in the hall. This could only be prevented by the courageous efforts of a licensed nurse. The nurse also immediately alerted the police – which did not suit the perpetrator at all.
Attempt to choke wheelchair user
He vehemently resisted his arrest, broke away from the officers and again rushed to the shocked wheelchair user to strangle the woman. After the police were able to tame the rioters again, he suddenly indicated that a bomb could go off in the hospital, which led to a large-scale deployment of the emergency services – fortunately false alarm!
