A 45-year-old German driving her car on Achenseestraße (Tirol) towards Germany, ended up in the oncoming lane for unknown reasons on Monday. There was a head-on collision.
At around 3:15 PM, the German drove her car from Achenkirch in the direction of Bavaria. Her 14-year-old daughter was in the passenger seat. At kilometer 31.38, the woman drove the car into the oncoming lane for reasons that have not yet been clarified. There she was met by the car of a 72-year-old German who could no longer avoid it. The two vehicles collided head-on.

The 45-year-old and the 71-year-old passenger in the second car were seriously injured. The 72-year-old escaped with minor injuries. The 14-year-old daughter of the driver of the accident was not injured at all. Both cars are believed to be a total loss.
