In Bezau (Vorarlberg) a breakneck action was taken on Tuesday evening by a 44-year-old woman. She rammed into a rural bus that just stopped at the bus stop. The woman had previously refueled well.
The bus driver drove his vehicle to the “Social Center” stop in Bezau at 6.30 pm on Tuesday. When the bus stopped there and a passenger was about to board, there was a crash. The cause was a 44-year-old woman who drove her car into the bus without braking.
In the end, the woman turned out to have 1.8 per mille alcohol in her blood. She was not wearing a seat belt and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to the hospital in Bregenz. She is now off her driver’s license. Fortunately, none of the bus passengers were injured.
