What happened to the cats that disappeared in Wulkaprodersdorf in Burgenland? The owners are now assuming the worst and so far no traces have been found. The police are also investigating. The animal corner of the “Krone” has now put up a “bounty” and is hoping for help.
Where have those eight cats gone missing from Wulkaprodersdorf? The case continues to baffle pet owners in the community. So far, no traces of the missing velvet paws have been discovered.
Jackals or haters?
This leads to speculation among those affected. The rumors range from golden jackals to hunters or even a cat hater. Hardly anyone believes in coincidence anymore.
As reported, pet owner Melinda Ciorba lost two of her three cats. “Martha” on June 24 and “Miu” on August 24. “Maybe there are some that we don’t know about,” Ciorba says. She has already set up a group on Facebook where those involved can report (“missing cats in Wulkaprodersdorf”).
Many velvet paws gone
Now the animal corner “Krone” is also involved. “A remarkable number of cats have disappeared, so the suspicion is that there is an animal cruelty case behind the case and that the fur noses were deliberately grabbed by someone,” says “Krone” animal lady Maggie Entenfellner.
10,000 euros for tips
“The animal corner has therefore offered a reward of 10,000 euros for relevant information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator.” All information will of course be treated confidentially and anonymously.
