A 27-year-old climber from Tyrol fell while leading a rock eruption in the Sanduhrparadies climbing route on the Traunstein at an altitude of about 840 meters. The woman fell about 20 meters and suffered serious injuries.
Retrieved with rope by the ambulance helicopter team
Her climbing partner and other hikers who heard the cries for help alerted emergency services. The injured person was then rescued by the team of the emergency medical helicopter Martin 3 from Scharnstein using rope rescue and taken to the Wels clinic.
