Around midnight, a scuffle broke out in the Innsbruck restaurant. Police say the attackers are three diners at the restaurant who allegedly attacked five security guards. They would have armed themselves with heavy iron bars. The executive branch eventually had to intervene: “As the situation on the ground was very chaotic and confusing, several police patrols were deployed from the city of Innsbruck,” the researchers describe.
Brawl claimed one seriously injured
According to initial investigations, all eight people involved in the battle are believed to have been injured, one of them seriously. All were taken to the Innsbruck clinic by rescue teams. The cause of the fight is still under investigation.
A person’s cell phone was stolen during the fight. However, the officers were able to quickly identify the suspected thief and return the phone undamaged.
