A dramatic accident occurred in Reith im Alpbachtal (Tirol) on Sunday. An Austrian (43) came off the road with his car and collided with a stone. The car flipped over and ended up in a parking lot. The driver was seriously injured.
For reasons unknown, the local drove his car off the road onto Tiroler Straße. The vehicle collided with a stone and a street sign after approximately 15 meters. The impact caused the car to flip over, it was thrown into the parking lot of an inn and landed on the driver’s side.
Driver seriously injured
The driver was able to get out of his car through the sliding roof, but was seriously injured in the accident. He was taken by ambulance to the Schwaz district hospital.
