Packed in a sleeping bag, Beatrix H. (53) lay dead in the basement of the house in Linz-Ebelsberg from which she had disappeared for 16 days. The motive can be found in personal reasons, which are not mentioned out of respect for the family. A police dog found the woman from Vienna, who had recently moved to Linz to live with her partner.
According to the doctor’s assumptions, she was dead for a week at most – and there were no signs that the 53-year-old could have died. Now the partner and the police are trying to reconstruct where Beatrix H., originally from Aschach/D. came from the time before her death. Because she had neither the key to the house – hers was in her apartment in Vienna – nor to the cellar. The compartment itself, covered with wooden slats, was unlocked.
House was searched several times
“The painters are in the house, maybe that’s why she could come and go,” speculates Beatrix H’s grieving girlfriend. And she hadn’t brought any money – the 200 euros that were missing was in the apartment – and she had no contact either. recorded with her children or other acquaintances. But the sleeping bag was missing.
The house had been searched several times by the police and the partner. “Dogs were there twice in the beginning, but Beatrix must have been somewhere else,” says the friend, who took another look in the basement with an acquaintance last Saturday – the 53-year-old should have been lying dead in the compartment undetected. Well, on Monday, the sniffer dog struck – an autopsy should clarify the cause of death. At the moment, however, the investigators do not assume a crime.
