Fatal accident Tuesday in Kufstein in Tiroler Unterland: Due to a health problem, a 71-year-old driver came into the oncoming lane, resulting in a collision with a car and truck. The elderly man had to be resuscitated at the scene of the accident.
The 71-year-old was on B173 Eibergstraße in Kufstein towards Schwoich when he came into the oncoming lane due to the health problem – believed to be an epileptic seizure. The car that got out of hand then collided with the car of a woman (72), who was injured by the impact. There was also a “minor collision” with a truck.

„The 71-year-old had to be resuscitated at the scene of the accident. He was then taken by ambulance to the district hospital in Kufstein,” said the police. The cars sustained heavy damage and the truck sustained minor damage.
