Murder alert in Innsbruck: A 38-year-old is said to have murdered his own father (63) on Wednesday. The suspect marched to the police and confessed to the murder. The background is currently unclear. The LKA Tirol is investigating at full speed.
On Wednesday evening, police officers were ordered to an apartment in the Hötting district of Innsbruck, because of fears of an accident. “Relatives last had contact with the 63-year-old resident on Tuesday around noon,” say the LKA Tyrol investigators. “Police officers, with the support of the professional fire brigade, were then able to enter the apartment via the balcony and find the man dead there.”
The suspicion that the man had been the victim of an act of violence was immediately substantiated on the basis of the situation in which he was found, cuts and the initial investigations.
