On Wednesday shortly before 3.20 pm, the emergency center in St. Gallen received the message that a ship had collided with a wall in the Rheinhof harbor on Lake Constance in Altenrhein. There was one seriously injured person on the private boat. However, the rescuers were only able to determine the death of the initially unknown man, who had apparently been killed by violence. In addition, one person escaped from the boat, the report said. A few minutes later, at 3.35 pm, the emergency calls came in that a dead person had been found on the A1 near Staad.
