Ads Against TSD – Refugee Facility: Unpacking Employees

Date:

Two employees of the Tiroler Sociale Dienst GmbH unpack in the “Krone” conversation. They report, for example, cabinets that have been broken into, documents that have disappeared, reports to the police and data protection authorities and strange timetables. Management has also responded to the allegations.

Mohamed Alburaiki has been part of the refugee company Tiroler Soziale Diensten GmbH (TSD) since its foundation in 2015. From the beginning he was responsible for all IT matters. “All the departments come together here, I know almost everything, I’ve also seen a few scandals and inconsistencies,” explains the IT manager. In 2019 he became a works council member. “The management didn’t like that, it was emphasized again and again in meetings,” says Alburaiki. He suddenly got fewer resources, so he had to work a lot more himself.

“I worked about 800 overtime hours that I had accumulated. I was tired, I asked for a vacation, but it was always turned down,” he says, “then I kept working until I got sick – the whole thing ended in a burnout, I couldn’t breathe anymore. That was in September 2021.”

“As a thank you, their vacation was finally taken away from them”
According to the married family man, several employees were not allowed to take their vacation: “As a thank you, their vacation has finally been taken.” A few days ago, Alburaiki came back healthy from sick leave. “I have emphasized to management that I would like to return to work. They immediately informed me that I had been temporarily transferred to another office and fired.”

The IT manager went to AK Tirol for advice the same day. He also informed the TSD management in this way. “After the appointment, I came to my new office, which was no longer in the head office, but on Maria-Theresien-Strasse. It was agreed that I would be able to see those responsible there, as well as my sensitive documents – health documents, bank statements, my certificates, treasonous emails, employee details, works council documents – which I have piled up since 2015 and always locked up safely in had three drawers, measure. The key was always at my house.”

Time off due to refusal to work
But there Alburaiki could hardly believe his eyes: “The new office is a cleaning room. It is isolated, smells awful and there is no telephone. Some of my documents were there – but not locked, but scattered on the table and in boxes and readable for everyone.” A hard drive and a USB stick are missing. Incidentally, such an incident “is not the first time that has occurred within TSD The employee contacted management, but they waved him off. “The new head of IT immediately gave me leave for ‘permanent refusal to work’ – because management hadn’t seen me in the new office before. She couldn’t do that either, because I was in the AK, I had clearly communicated that to everyone,” he emphasizes.

Alburaiki filed a complaint with the police. Officers arrived on the scene and the investigation is ongoing. He also filed a complaint with the data protection authority. “I cannot and will not accept that under any circumstances. I believe that the management no longer wants me in the company. I feel bullied, treated unfairly.”

Curious details also from another employee
Peter Eglauer, also employee of TSD GmbH and deputy chairman of the works council, describes the strange content: “I received a transfer from the management including a limitation of services. Since then I can only myself for my work on the Seefeld plateau If I have to go to Innsbruck, I am no longer allowed to drive my company car over the Zirler Berg. “The disappearance of the obviously dangerous trip over the Zirler Berg should be seen as an important advantage,” says an e-mail from the managing board.

“Unfortunately I had to give my leave”
In a written reply, the director of Tiroler Soziale Diensten GmbH (TSD), Carolin Porcham, commented on the allegations made by Mohamed Alburaiki and Peter Eglauer. It states that “in fiscal year 2021, a third-party certified information security auditor has been commissioned to conduct an IT audit at TSD. Since Mr. Alburaiki has been on sick leave since then, we had to fill the position.” Last week he got a new job, Porcham emphasizes. “After speaking with me in the presence of the General Manager and an employee of TSD, Mr. Alburaiki The decision was not accepted and unfortunately I had to give myself leave,” explains the director.

However, the HR manager contacted him again and suggested a further conversation with Porcham “at any time”. As for the overtime, she says it will be “paid in accordance with the applicable company agreement”. The “suspected theft or damage to utensils” could “not be understood”.

“Company cars have been allocated for activities”
In the case of Eglauer, the general manager confirms that it is correct that “he is the caregiver on the team and is assigned to the basic care facilities on the Seefeld plateau”. At the same time, she says that all caretakers are distributed in areas in Tyrol and “of course directly assigned service vehicles are available to carry out the work”.

Finally, Porcham emphasizes that the aim is to divide responsibilities for the facilities “so that they are close to the residence concerned” and points out that Eglauer lives in Scharnitz.
