A Viennese couple – 34 and 25 – who have been selling addictive substances via the Darknet since 2020, have apparently fulfilled all customer wishes in the field of drugs. Offered: coke, ecstasy, speed, MDNA, methamphetamine, hashish, LSD, ketamine and other types of narcotics. About 7000 sales are said to have been processed via Darknet. The National Criminal Investigation Department has now put an end to the company.
The agents of the Vienna State Police have been following the suspects since March 2020. According to the investigation, the addictive substances were sold nationally, but also internationally via the internet. On September 19, after extensive observations, the couple was arrested and the drugs were seized during house searches in two apartments in Josefstadt and Penzing.
20 kilos of drugs
In quantity, 19,000 tablets of ecstasy made up the bulk of the different strains. The 20 kilograms would have brought in millions on the street or on the Darknet. However, the police found only 5,000 euros in cash.
The 34- and 25-year-old have so far denied any statement, police reported on Tuesday.
