At least 19 people died and another 27 were injured. as a result of a explosion in an educational center in the Afghan city Kabul, as reported by police sources, who consider the attack a “suicide bomb.”
The incident took place in the Dasht e Barchi area, in the west of the Afghan capital, as reported by the Afghan Interior Ministry and collected by the Tolo News chain.
“An educational center called ‘Kaj’ in District 13 of the city of Kabul, which was taking the entrance exam this Friday, has been attacked. Unfortunately, preliminary information shows that 19 people were killed and 27 others were injured.” Kabul Police spokesman Khalid Zadran on Twitter.
Many of the residents near the school where the explosion took place are danger, a majority Shia ethnic minority who has been before target of attacks the far-right Islamic State and other groups.
