A fatal traffic accident occurred in the Feistritzer Alm in Carinthia. A woman fell 500 meters with her car.
“The car crashed on the Feistritzer Alm (Villach-Land) about 500 meters over impassable and steep terrain. All help came too late for the 51-year-old,” said police spokesman Waltraud Dullnigg. The accident may have happened Friday evening or early Friday morning. “The salvage work is still going on, it’s raining and unfortunately that makes it all more difficult,” the spokeswoman continues.
It is still unclear how the accident happened. According to the police, the driver should have left the road on the Alm due to the weather conditions. The victim is a known landlady.
