A suspected serial thief was caught by the Carinthian police. He and his accomplices are responsible for a total of 20 burglaries, not only in Carinthia, but also in Burgenland, Styria and Croatia.
Due to various camera shots, the young man, a 21-year-old Croat, was arrested. “His destination was several shopping centers in Spittal, Villach and Klagenfurt,” said Hermann Jahn, chief inspector of the Klagenfurt City Police. But the thief, who had mainly stolen perfumes and cosmetics, was not alone in Carinthia.

“He has also committed thefts in Burgenland, in Styria and in his homeland,” the chief inspector continues. The Carinthia police have been able to hand over the 21-year-old to the police in Croatia. “The man was never alone, he had three accomplices,” Jahn announces. However, the three thieves have not yet been caught. “However, the identity of the suspects is known to us.”
The four men from Croatia are responsible for a total of 20 shoplifting.
