A 64-year-old woman was found dead Monday at Schlierbach Abbey in Upper Austria. The body had a head wound. The public prosecutor’s office in Steyr has ordered an autopsy just to be sure, but for the time being it is not based on the fault of third parties.
A 64-year-old woman from Weyer was found dead in a room at Schlierbach Abbey on Monday. The pensioner had apparently taken a break and therefore stayed overnight in the monastery.
head wound
Due to a visible head wound on the corpse, a forensic autopsy was ordered as a precaution. However, the researchers assume that someone fell during the toilet visit. “There is currently no evidence of negligence by third parties,” said Steyr’s public prosecutor’s office Andreas Pechatschek.
