The fun is over: a German holidaymaker suffered serious foot injuries while riding a slide at an amusement park in the Grieskirchen district.
A 37-year-old German holidaymaker spent Sunday at an amusement park in the Grieskirchen district. At around 16:50, she used the “tubing track” with the jump. She sat alone on a large “tube” (pneumatic tire with a hard plastic base) and slid down the ski jump track.
Flew to Passau
During the jump, she was catapulted into the air and upon landing, her left leg was caught under the tube. She suffered a serious foot injury. After receiving urgent medical attention, the 37-year-old was flown by rescue helicopter to the Passau clinic.
