Scientists have been honored for their discoveries for the development of click chemistry, which can better target cancer drugs.

Scientists Carolyn Bertozzi, Morten Meldal and K.Barry Sharpless are the winners of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the development of click chemistry, which has led to better targeting of cancer drugs, the Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm announced.
Today’s prize is the latest of the Nobel Round’s scientific awards, following those unveiled for Medicine on Monday and yesterday, Tuesday, for Physics. Thursday the announcements will continue with those for Literature, Friday those for Peace and next Monday those for Economics.
