wife found
The emergency coordinator of ÖBB has shut down train traffic in the entire area of the marshalling yard and on part of the Westbahn section and released it to officials. An operations manager from ÖBB also went to the site. At about 12:40 p.m., railway workers from ÖBB found the woman they were looking for, a 48-year-old woman from Linz. They took the woman to the shed, where she was interrogated by the police officers.

Officials were stunned by the reasoning behind her actions: She stated she was looking for her brother’s grave, which is said to have once been here. However, she was aware that entering the track was prohibited due to danger and therefore also walked next to the track. The tracks were reopened to train traffic at 12:45 p.m.
