Federal detectives try to unravel the identity of a man found lifeless in an erotic movie booth.
A new face has been added to the search page of the Federal Criminal Police Office. It’s that of an unknown corpse. The story behind the dead man is mysterious.
The approximately 65-year-old man, who is 1.80 meters tall, was found lifeless on October 4 at 4.35 pm in the single cabin of a sex cinema on the popular shopping street Mariahilfer Strasse in Vienna’s sixth district. Any help came too late for him. There was no question of violence, he must have died lonely from a sudden cardiac death.
Information (also anonymous) to clarify the identity is now requested from the Vienna State Criminal Investigation Department on telephone number 01/31310-43800 or from any other police station in the country.
No notice of departure
Although the mysterious case took place on October 4, apparently no one is still missing the man of retirement age. There is also no notice of absence from Austria that could apply to the unknown dead.
