At the beginning of the pandemic, there were isolated reports of suspected corona infections in animals or transmission to humans. A scientific review of the whole initially proved difficult. And it is not that easy, because so far there have only been a few (probable) cases. Happy one must say.
Now, three years and countless studies later, the earlier results can at least be summarized to some extent. One thing is clear: Depending on the animal species, the risk of disease or transmission varies.
