At around 6:20 p.m. Friday, the 43-year-old called the police because the unknown gunman had shot a pigeon on her balcony in Schwand. At that moment she was about to go to her balcony when she suddenly heard a loud bang and a dead pigeon fell on her balcony.

Upon closer inspection, she saw a clear gunshot wound on the animal. Police searched the area for the unknown gunman, who was believed to be using a small-caliber rifle.
