Shock find in Paris – mysterious marks on the corpse of a girl in a suitcase

Date:

After the horrific discovery of a girl’s body in a suitcase in Paris, new details of the investigation have emerged. The numbers 1 and 0 were written on the body of the twelve-year-old, the regional newspaper “Sud Ouest” reported Sunday, citing the Paris prosecutor. The autopsy determined the cause of death was asphyxiation. The girl’s body was found curled up in a suitcase around 11 p.m. Friday with wounds to her neck. Investigators said six suspects were arrested on Saturday.

A homeless person discovered the suitcase in the courtyard of twelve-year-old Lola’s house. The father of the deceased works there as a janitor. The body of the twelve-year-old was therefore covered with towels. Beside the suitcase containing the dismembered corpse were two smaller suitcases.

Mother published call for witnesses on Facebook
The girl’s father was reportedly concerned because the 12-year-old hadn’t come home from school Friday afternoon. He warned his wife, who went to the police and reported the daughter missing.

The girl’s mother posted a witness appeal on Facebook, including two photos of her daughter. One photo showed the smiling blond girl, the other apparently showed images from a security camera. Her daughter was “last seen at 3:20 p.m.” at her home and accompanied by a girl “we don’t know,” the mother wrote.

A murder investigation has been launched, the prosecutor said. According to those close to her, the surveillance cameras had recorded the girl entering the 10-storey apartment building after school. Then it disappeared, they said.

Police arrested six suspects
According to information from detectives, three suspects were arrested near the location overnight. A fourth suspect was arrested Saturday morning in Bois-Colombes, northwest of Paris. All four have been arrested by the police, the prosecutor said. Two more arrests were made in the afternoon.

The ten-storey house in which the family lives is located in a neighborhood of the 19th arrondissement of Paris, which is home to both residential buildings and shops. In front of the house people lit candles and laid flowers and cards. Psychological help should be provided to the students of the school the girl attended from Monday morning.
