Police officers were patrolling Saturday night and saw a vehicle speeding on Liechtensteinstrasse in Vienna-Alsergrund. When the patrol car was about to drive over the intersection at Liechtenwerder Platz to stop the car, a young woman from Steyr (Upper Austria) collided with the police car.
The 20-year-old license holder on probation illegally crossed a bus lane and collided with the patrol car at the same intersection. Both police officers suffered minor injuries in the collision.

They were taken to a hospital for further examination. The damage to both vehicles was significant, so firefighters had to remove both vehicles.
