The Basque Statistical Institute-Eustat released the progress of the autonomous community’s quarterly accounts last summer and will expand on December 2.
The short-term economic information available at the time of writing this preview indicates a year-on-year delay of activity in key sectors of the Euskadi economy.
The functionmeasured as full-time equivalents, has increased by 0.3% compared to the previous quarter. This is the ninth consecutive quarter of quarterly employment growth.
Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the recovery in the number of jobs is estimated at 2.0% according to Eustat data.
On December 2, Eustat will publish the disaggregated estimates of GDP and employment in its quarterly accounts for the third quarter of 2022, after processing cyclical information that was not available at the time of preparing this preview.
