A tragic accident happened on Tuesday near the Kleiner Reisseck in Carinthia. Two brothers were trying to save a sheep that had climbed into the rocks when one of the men was killed.
A sheep is lost in the rocks in the Radlsee area. The brothers wanted to secure the animal when the tragic accident happened. One of the men fell in front of the brother’s eyes. The brother set the rescue chain in motion. The rescue helicopter RK1 brought the ambulance service to the scene of the accident. Unfortunately, all help for the victim came too late.
“We had the sad task of flying the horrified brother into the day,” reports Horst Wohlgemuth of the Spittal Alpine Police, who was also on duty with the Libelle police helicopter.
